If a Stallion port is allocated to COM1..COM4,
you will be able to invoke the Control Adapter cable > Ports > Advanced
Settings dialog for it. We recommend that you do not modify any of
these settings.
Under some circumstances RAS may generate warning
messages in the system log such as: The serial driver could
not allocate adequate I/O queues. This may result in an unreliable connection.
This message can be disregarded.
The correspondence between PCI slots and the
device numbers used internally by Windows NT varies from system to system.
When installing multiple PCI boards it may be easiest to add them one
at a time so that it is obvious which board is which.
