Introduction
Easyadmw is a port monitoring utility that is
installed along with the drivers. It is a convenient way for the system
administrator to monitor current modem control signals and statistics
for Stallion serial ports.
Easyadmw is primarily a diagnostics tool designed for the Windows NT
environment, for use with the EasyIO and EasyConnection range of products.
Easyadmw allows monotoring of various port statistics, and assists with
troubleshooting serial problems.
Overview
Easyadmw has been included to allow monitoring
of various port statistics and to assist in troubleshooting serial problems.
- The Easyadmw utility is located in the Control
Panel.
- The All Ports Display dialog shows
signal states and statistics for each port. Individual port details
can be displayed by selecting a port and then selecting the Detail
button.
- The Single Port Display dialog shows
port configuration, signal states and graphical display of input and
output.
- The Host and Slave dialogs
are supplied for driver debug purposes.
- The Report dialog saves all port
information to a user specified file. This report, along with the
NT system configuration (Start >Administrative Tools >Windows NT
>Diagnostics >File >Save Report) may be requested by Stallion
Support to resolve serial problems.
