- Problem
-
When installing an EasyConnection 8/64 PCI card under Windows NT, the driver fails to load and reports the following error: "STLNATA driver cannot find the Interrupt because another device may be using it". The PCI card fails to initialize.
- Resolution
-
This problem was caused by a bug in the Stallion ATA 5.4.0 Windows NT driver that prevents the ATA driver from starting when the driver finds one or more PCI cards sharing the same ISA interrupt that the EasyConnection 8/64 PCI, EasyIO-8 PCI or EasyIO-4 PCI card is using. This bug effects all Stallion ATA driver verions of 5.40 or earlier. Drivers with a revision of 5.5.0 or later include a fix for this problem.
Updated drivers are available from the Stallion Technologies web site at www.stallion.com in the support area.
