Firmware 5.1.4
Startup images allow EasyServer II units to run a newer version
of firmware by downloading the updated image from a TFTP server
each time it boots. The firmware is not permanently stored
in the unit's memory. |
| Hardware Supported |
- All EasyServer II units currently using firmware 5.X.
Run the "SHOW SERVER" command at an EasyServer II
command prompt to see the current firmware version.
NOTE: EasyServer II (or LantaServer) units that have a
firmware version of 5.X or earlier do not have flash memory fitted
and cannot be upgraded in the field. Contact your nearest
Stallion office for upgrade options.

Startup Image Firmware 5.1.4:
The gzipped and zipped flash images above can be used with a
TFTP server to upgrade the firmware of an EasyServer II by downloading
the image each time the unit boots. See the EasyServer II
manual for details.
