Linux drivers are also available from the Stallion web site. Use the drivers with the latest version for your kernel, regardless of the source. CONTENTS ======== 1. General 2. General =========== Media Format ------------ The ATA Linux driver is delivered in gzip and tar.gz formats and is a full driver distribution. The gzip file is a raw diskette image and needs to be written to a 1.44Mb diskette. The tar.gz file is a standard tar archive containing the files and directories that make up the driver. This can be untarred to an empty directory.
